I spent a day, a full work day, cleaning. After a week at the beach our house was an absolute disaster, as opposed to just an average disaster. After a full day of hard work I sat back and reflected upon all I had done, intending to enjoy the sparkling cleanliness of my home. Shockingly not only was it not clean, it was exactly the same as it had been 24 hours prior. Nothing had changed. How, after working so hard, could the house look exactly the same as it did before I started? What would have happened had I not spent the day cleaning? Perhaps it is not possible for my house to be clean. I think we shall move.
